Robert, learned counsel, appeared for the applicant. Mr. A. Jagjit, learned counsel; Mr. S. Vijayanand Sharma, learned Sr. PCCG; Mr. K. Modhusudon, learned counsel; and Mr. P. Tomcha, learned counsel, appeared for the respondents. On the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, these cases were referred for mediation to the ADR Centre, High Court of Manipur by order dated 24.04.2025. After conducting a successful mediation and on mutual agreement amongst the parties, the dispute has been finally settled before the Mediator and the learned Mediator has submitted a report dated 05.05.2025. The said report are as under:- LAIRENM AYUM INDRAJE ET SINGH Digitally signed by LAIRENMAYUM INDRAJEET SINGH Date: 2025.05.12 16:29:38 +05'30' 2 “All parties present have discussed the problem in electing a full fledged President of the Manipur People’s Party due to the opinion expressed by the Registrar of Societies, Manipur regarding the inability to conduct Election of the full fledged President of MPP as directed by the Hon’ble High Court of Manipur. After deliberation, all the parties present unanimously consented in holding the election of the full fledged President of Manipur Peoples Party by the State Returning Officer (SRO), MPP elected by the Central Committee Members, MPP. It is also agreed by all the parties to conduct the election of the full fledged President of MPP within two months.” All the learned counsel appearing for the parties, submitted before this Court that the matter has been amicably settled amongst the parties to the effect that a full fledged President of the MPP will be duly elected after holding an election by the State Returning Officer(SRO), MPP elected by the Central Committee Members, MPP, strictly in terms of the election rules & constitution of the MPP within 2(two) months. In view of the said amicable settlement amongst the parties, the learned counsel appearing for the parties prays for closing these cases. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present applications stand closed. JUDGE Indrajeet
