The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jamua P.S. Case No.218 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 271, 272, 274, 275 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 47(A) of the Excise Act, pending in the court of Ms. Sushila Hansda, learned Judicial Magistrate, Giridih. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.10795 of 2024 by order dated 21.01.2025 with liberty to renew his prayer for bail after four months. On 03.11.2024 at about 12:30 midnight, the house of the petitioner was raided and on search, huge quantities of illegal liquors were recovered from there. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for more than five months. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Sushila Hansda, learned Judicial Magistrate, Giridih or her successor, in connection with Jamua P.S.
