They feel threat to their life and liberty on the part of private respondents and so have approached this Court to provide them necessary protection. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners are living in live-in relationship and they are being threatened with dire consequences by the private respondents. Resultantly, a representation dated 20.08.2025 was also made to respondent No.2- Superintendent of Police, Jind for protection of their lives and liberty but in vain. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Superintendent of Police, Jind to look into their representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3. However, this direction will have no effect on any civil or criminal action, which could be initiated in the matter in accordance with law. 6.
