By the present petition, the petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to release compensation amounting to Rs. 86,63,000/- in his favour for land measuring 1 kanal 5 marlas and 1 sft, falling under Khasra No. 391 min, Khewat No. 33, Khata No. 98, situated at village Sonamarg, Tehsil Gund, District Ganderbal. 2. Vide order dated 14.12.2022, this Court directed the respondents to deposit the compensation amount with respect to the land in question with the Registry of this Court within two weeks. 3. The respondents deposited the said amount with the Registry of this Court. The petitioner, thereafter, moved CM No. 1175/2022 and sought release of the compensation amount, this Court, vide order dated 31.05.2023, directed Registry to release the amount in favour of the petitioner after proper verification and completion of all codal formalities. 4. Mr. S.N. Ratanpur, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the amount has since been released in favour of the petitioner and, accordingly, his grievance stands redressed. 5.
