Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Anshul Nigam, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent. 2. The instant petition has been filed for following relief:- I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2/ Additional Commissioner (Administration), Varanasi Division, Varanasi, to decide the Revision No. 962 of 2019, Computerized Case No. C201914000000962 (Bachhe Lal Yadav vs. Ram Jee), pending before him. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that revision arising out proceedings under Section 33/39 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, is pending before the respondent No. 2/ Additional Commissioner (Administration), Varanasi Division, Varanasi, since 2019. He submitted that petitioner is opposite party in the aforementioned revision. He further placed a certified copy of the order-sheet of the proceeding, which is annexed as annexure-5 to the writ petition in order to demonstrate that the aforementioned matter is still pending. He submitted that appropriate direction be issued for expeditious disposal of the pending proceeding. 4. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, the instant petition is finally disposed of directing the respondent No. 2/ Additional Commissioner (Administration), Varanasi Division, Varanasi, to decide the aforementioned revision after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
