The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
“issuing directions to the learned Rent Controller, Shimla to decide and adjudicate the Execution Petition No. 82/2022, titled as Sh. Mukul Mohan and other vs. Sh. Navdeep Thareja in a time bound manner as per the mandate of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case titled as Rahul S. Shah vs. Jinendra Kumar Gandhi and others 2021 (6) SCC 418 and case titled as Periyammal (dead) through LRs and others vs. V. Rajamani and another etc. bearing SLP (C) No. 8490-8492 of 2020, decided on 06.03.2025.”

Heard counsel for the petitioner.

At the very outset, it would be appropriate to refer to case reported as SLP(C) Nos. 8490, 8491 & 8492 of 2020 titled as Periyammal (Dead) through LRs and others vs. V.
1 Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 Rajamani and another etc. Relevant extract whereof reads as under:-
“75 In view of the aforesaid, we direct all the High Courts across the country to call for the necessary information from their respective district judiciary as regards pendency of the execution petitions. Once the data is collected by each of the High Courts, the High Courts shall thereafter proceed to issue an administrative
order or circular, directing their respective district judiciary to ensure that the execution petitions pending in various courts shall be decided and disposed of within a period of six months without fail otherwise the concerned presiding officer would be answerable to the High Court on its administrative side. Once the entire data alongwith with the figures of pendency and disposal thereafter, is collected by all the High Courts, the same shall be forwarded to the Registry of this Court with individual reports.”

In view thereof, the present petition is dismissed as being pre mature. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any also stand disposed of.
