The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 463/2024 arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 165/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 109, 132 & 3(5), of the B.N.S. 2023 and Sections 27(1) of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-III, Palamau at Daltonganj. 3. On 02.08.2024 at about 9:00 A.M., Chainpur police, on the basis of confidential information, intercepted a motorcycle by which the petitioner and co-accused Monu Soni @ Bokiya were traveling. On seeing the police party, the petitioner opened fire upon them. The police party also fired upon the accused persons due to which the petitioner sustained fire arm injury. 4. It was submitted that no police personnel got injured in the said occurrence. It was further submitted that the police have concocted this case, in order to save their skin. 5. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State submitted that the petitioner is hard-core criminal having seven criminal cases pending against him. 6. Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
