At the time of death, petitioner’s father was serving as regular Beldar in respondent-HPPWD. Petitioner applied for compassionate employment in year 2023. Thereafter, he repeated his request on 09.05.2024. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - Petitioner’s grievance is that till date respondents/Competent Authority has not taken any decision in his case, seeking employment on compassionate grounds. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2 /Competent Authority to consider and decide the case of the petitioner for employment on compassionate grounds within a period of eight weeks from today.
