In view of the disclosure so made, we are not inclined to keep this matter pending, but dispose of it with a direction to the respondent authorities to forward the relevant report to the Water Resources Department, as early as possible. 3. In case the encroachment which has been found is not removed in four months, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive this writ petition. There shall be no order as to costs.
