The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records relating to the impugned Government Order issued by the 1 st respondent in G.O.Ms.No. 185, School Education (VE) Department dated 25.08.2008 and to quash the same insofar as in Para 3(3) is concerned and consequently directing the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 31711 of 2019 respondents to reckon the seniority from the date of appointment/regularization in the post of Vocational Instructor for promotion to the post of P.G. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's name has been included in the promotion panel of the year 01.01.2019 and she was allowed to participate in the promotion counselling. 4. It is learnt that the petitioner was permitted to participate in the transfer counselling held on 16.04.2019 and relinquished the promotion to the post of P.G. Assistant (Commerce). In view of the same, this writ petition has become infructuous and hence, it is closed.
