Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Jamtara P.S. Case No. 233/2024 registered for the offence under section 310(4)(5) of BNS (u/s 399/402 of IPC) and Section 25(1-B)a 26/35 of Arms Act, pending in the court of learned C.J.M, Jamtara. On 12.12.2024, Jamtara police on the basis of confidential information that some criminals have assembled near Mohra Bridge and were making preparation to commit dacoity, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended the petitioner along with two other accused persons. On search, arms and ammunitions were recovered from there, It was submitted that two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by this court earlier. Learner A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Jamtara in connection with Jamtara P.S.
