The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "A) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. I to expeditiously decide Motor Accident Claim Petition Number (M.A.C.P.) No. 394 of 2023 titled Suman Pal & Others versus Rajesh Kumar & Others under section 140 & 166 of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 preferably within a short period of time." 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the aforementioned claim petition is pending since 2023 for adjudication. He prayed that the same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5.
