By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- “10.1) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and direct the respondent to decide the revision pending before Inspector General of Police, Chhattisgarh Sector (Central Reserve Police Force, Raipur). 10.2) That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem-fit and appropriate.” 2. Brief facts of the case, is that, the petitioner was working as Constable (Sipahi) bearing No. 021440597, the petitioner was working under Police Department and as he was on leave and he did not join his duties after completion of leave. When the petitioner did not join his duties an arrest warrant was issued against him and he was declared as absconded. Therefore, vide order dated 31.01.2013, he has been terminated from the services. The petitioner filed an appeal against the order dated 31.01.2013 before the competent authority in which he submitted that due to some medical emergency he could not file appeal within time. Thereafter, the petitioner filed various application for 3 re-instatement in his duty but the respondent authorities have not consider any application because the appeal was dismissed on 13.10.2021. Thereafter, he filed a revision before the competent authority which is pending. Thereafter, the petitioner made several communications for rejoining in his service, but the same was not considered on the ground that revision submitted by him is pending. The competent authorities are not taking any decision over the appeal revision filed by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the order of removal from service he has filed a revision before the Inspector General of Police, Chhattisgarh Sector (Central Reserve Police Force, Raipur) on 09.10.2023 and till date it has not been decided, therefore, he is seeking a direction to the respondent authorities especially respondent No. 2 i.e. Inspector General of Police, Chhattisgarh Sector, Central Reserve Police Force, Arang, District-Raipur, Chhattisgarh to decide the revision within some stipulated period. 4. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the submission. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the revision was filed way back on 4 09.10.2023 before the respondent No. 2. The respondent No. 2 i.e. Inspector General of Police, Chhattisgarh Sector, Central Reserve Police Force, Arang, District-Raipur, Chhattisgarh is directed to decide the revision within a period of 30 days. 7.
