The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.08 of 2024 arising out of Lohardaga P.S. Case No. 209 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 20(b) II (B) / 32 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Lohardaga. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.10651 of 2024 by order dated 17.12.2024 on the ground that commercial quantity was recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused persons. Mr. Krishan Murari, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that house of several co-accused persons was raided separately and from there, cannabis was recovered. It was further submitted that from the house of the petitioner 7.3 kgs. of cannabis were recovered. It was finally submitted that intermediary quantity of cannabis was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. While rejecting the bail application of this petitioner, the Court has observed that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Lohardaga, in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.08 of 2024 arising out of Lohardaga P.S. Case No. 209 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
