257 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA CHANDIGARH
CRM-M-82-2019 (O&M) Date of Decision: 26.05.2025 SURESH KUMAR AND OTHERS …Petitioners V/S STATE OF PUNJAB AND OTHERS
…Respondents
CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE HARPREET SINGH BRAR Present: Mr. Shivender Pal Singh, Advocate for Mr. B.S. Bhalla, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. Rishabh Singla, AAG Punjab and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, DAG Punjab.
**** HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5. Learned State counsel at the outset submits that respondent No. 5 has never directed the petitioner to furnish the bail bonds of Rs. 30,000/-. Rather, no such recourse is available to respondent No. 5 to go beyond the
order passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Moga. Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition. In view of the above, present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
