In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, the corpus, i.e., the petitioner No. 1 has been produced before this Court by Sri Amar Singh, Sub-Inspector, Police Station- Subhash Nagar, District- Bareilly. The corpus has also been identified by the aforesaid officer. It has been stated by the Additional Government Advocate, on instructions, that the petitioner No. 1 was never detained, but was only summoned for interrogation on 04.09.2025 in Case Crime No.370 of 2025, registered under Sections 14(3)/351(3) B.N.S. read with Sections 3/5(1) of Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021 and was released on the same date. The fact that corpus is at present not under detention, is also accepted by the counsel for the petitioner. The corpus is set free and at liberty forthwith. In view of the aforesaid, no further order is required to be passed in the present petition. The writ petition is disposed of.
