Heard Sri Janardan Yadav, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri Anupam, Advocate for respondents. 2. It is not under dispute that petitioner was promoted on the post of Booking Clerk on 06.07.2012 and recently by impugned order dated 06.05.2025 the name of post is changed to Assistant Traffic Inspector. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that in view of a circular dated 12.09.2022 (not on record) such change could not be made and he refers an order dated 13.06.2025 whereby in similar circumstances change of name of post was cancelled with regard to one, Sri Jai Prakash Singh Yadav. 4. Learned counsel for respondents is not able to show that circular dated 12.09.2022 is not applicable in the case of petitioner, on basis of his limited instructions. 5. In aforesaid circumstances, the Court is of the view that in case petitioner is being single out and impugned order is contrary to circular dated 12.09.2022, petitioner’s prayer may be considered if petitioner files a representation within two weeks from today. Thereafter concerned respondent will take a decision taking note of above observations. 6. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
