CWP No. 1010/2020 With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 2. The writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive reliefs: - “ i) That the respondent may kindly be directed to grant the benefits of Assured Career Progression Scheme (Annexure P-1) on the completion of service of 4,9,14 in the cadre as such benefits have already been granted to the similar situated persons and even juniors to the petitioner. ii) That the respondents may further be directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner contained in Annexure P-3 dated 7.1.2020 within time bound period.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issues involved in this writ petition are no longer res-integra and have been squarely covered by the decisions rendered in Sanjay Kumar Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors2. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content, if the case of the petitioner is considered by the respondents in light of the aforesaid judgments within a time bound schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to this prayer. 4. Having regard to above submissions but without examining the merits of the matter, this petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider and decide the case of the petitioner in light of the aforesaid judgments and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The decision so arrived at, shall 2CWPOA No.5536 of 2020,decided alongwith connected matters on 01.11.2023. 3 be communicated to the petitioner.
