This Court vide order dated 27.11.2024 had directed the respondents to disconnect the electricity connection of the petitioner qua his unit and submit a report by the next date of hearing. This Court had also observed that the writ petition was not maintainable in view of the alternate remedy of appeal provided under Section 27 of the Electricity Act of 2003. 02. Mr. Alla Ud Din Ganai, learned Additional Advocate General had produced a communication dated 11.01.2015, wherein it is stated that in compliance of the order of this Court, the electricity supply to the petitioner’s mill was disconnected on 10.01.2024. Copy of communication dated 11.01.2025 is taken on record. 03. The applicant/petitioner has moved the present application seeking withdrawal of the writ petition WP(C) 2733/2024, with liberty to approach the Appellate Authority for availing the appropriate remedy under law. 04. The application for the reasons stated therein is allowed the writ petition WP(C) 2733/2024 is dismissed as withdraw, with liberty as prayed for. 05. List WP(C) 3457/2023 on 11.04.2025. 06.
