By way of filing of this petition, a prayer has been made for issuing directions to the respondents to continue the services of the petitioner on the post of Data Nodal Officer under the National Rural Health Mission. 2. This Court passed an interim order on 10.07.2009 by which the appointment of the petitioner was allowed to be continued. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that now the petitioner himself has abandoned and discontinued his services, therefore, under these circumstances, no cause of (2 of 2) [CW-7920/2009] action survives with him to continue with this petition and the same has become infructuous. 4. Considering the above factual aspect of the matter, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand dismissed. 5.
