(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although this Court vide order dated 10.01.2023 passed in CWP-10442-2017 (Annexure P-12) had directed that the excess amount paid by the petitioner on account of extension fee shall be refunded along with interest, which was to be decided by the competent authority within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. He further submits that the interest was to be paid on the deposited amount from the date the amount was deposited till possession was delivered. The competent authority has passed the impugned order dated 31.03.2025 but the respondents have not complied with the directions passed by this Court in the afore-noted order. 2. Mr. Ankur Mittal, Advocate and Ms. Ashna Singh, Advocate accept notice on behalf of the respondents-HSVP and submit that in compliance with the afore-noted order of the Court, a speaking order has been passed by respondent No.2 on 31.03.2025 (Annexure P-17). The excess amount received on account of extension fee has been refunded to the petitioner. The enhanced compensation along with interest @ 9% per annum has also been refunded to the petitioner. The respondents will furnish the detailed calculations regarding the deposited amount along with interest @ 9% per annum to the petitioner. In the event that any amount is found to be due, the same would be paid to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from now. 4. In view of the statement of learned counsel for the respondents-HSVP, the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been substantially redressed at this stage. The petition is disposed of at this stage. 5. If the petitioner is aggrieved of the calculations furnished to him, he would be at liberty to seek recourse to his remedy in accordance with law.
