SREENIVASA REDDY Criminal Petition No.2179 of 2025 Order: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner, seeking anticipatory bail, in Crime No.136 of 2021 of Special Enforcement Bureau Station, Rajamahendravaram-South, East Godavari district. 2. A case has been registered against the Petitioner herein for the offence punishable under Section 7-B read with 8-A of the A.P. Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2020- 3. Case of the prosecution is that on 28.01.2021, at about 04.00 PM, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Special Enforcement Bureau Station, Rajamahendravaram-South, along With his Staff, Proceeded tO Yerrapuntha Area, situated at Srjkrishnapatnam village limits, Rajanagaram Mandal and found 1200 litres of FJ Wash in 6 plastic drums, which is fit for distillation of ID liquor. On enquiry, they came to know that the said plastic drums belonged to the petitioner herei,n/accused. After collecting samples, they destroyed the drums with remaining FJ Wash under cover of a special report and registered a case against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that no contraband is seized from the possession of the accused and based on the confession made by the persons working near the scene of offence the petitioner herein has been arraI'gned as accused in the present crI|me. Learned Additional Public prosecutor submitted that most of the investigation has been comp,eted. 6.
