Learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record instructions dated 19.06.2025, which go to indicate that the petitioner has already received the first installment towards the arrears and the remaining amount would be released in terms of the instructions issued by the government. Since the petitioner is in service, we are of the considered view that granting of the arrears by the respondents on installment basis does not in any way prejudice the rights of the petitioner. Accordingly, we deem it appropriate to close this petition by directing the respondents to adhere to the undertaking given to this Court in the aforesaid instructions. Ordered accordingly.
