The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of result dated 16.06.2022 in respect of Category No.1 of Advertisement No.4/2020 dated
30.12.2020.

The respondent vide Advertisement No.04/2020 dated 30.12.2020 invited applications for post of Male Constables. In the advertisement, 10 marks were allocated for socio-economic and experience criteria. The said marks were earmarked in view of notification dated 11.06.2019 issued by the State. The petitioner applied for the post of Male Constable. The respondent declared result on 16.06.2022 incorporating marks obtained in the written examination as well as on account of socio- economic criteria. -2- which vide judgment dated 22.05.2025 declared notification dated 11.06.2019 invalid. The Court found notification violative of Articles 14, 15 and 16 of Constitution of India. The respondent was directed to publish revised result. The petitioner is claiming that respondent has not revised the result.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite declaration of socio-economic criteria invalid, the respondent has not revised the result.

This Court is sanguine of the fact that respondents would comply with judgments passed by Division Bench of this Court. However, this Court, while exercising power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, cannot direct the respondents to implement order passed by Division Bench of this Court. This Court cannot act as an Executing Court.

In the backdrop, the petition stands disposed of.
