The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ichak P.S. Case No. 149 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20, 21(b), 22(b), 25, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribagh. 3. On 27.11.2024, at about 11:30 a.m., Ichak Police apprehended co- accused Bhola Kumar and Sachin Kumar Ram. On search, 24 grams of brown sugar and 100 grams of cannabis were recovered from their possession. 4. Mr. Santosh Kumar Soni, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot, nor anything incriminating was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of the apprehended co-accused persons. 5. Mr. Fahad Allam, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S.
