And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Deepak Singh Patel,Mohammad Tahir Kurashi,Mohd Shamim Khan Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Siddharth Singhal Hon'ble Jayant Banerji,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned brief holder of Shri Siddharth Singhal, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 and 3. 2. This petition has been filed seeking the following relief: "i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents authority to consider the claim of petitioners for selection on the post of Gram Vikas Adhikari in the any village of District-Basti. ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation of petitioners dated 23.12.2024 within stipulated period which is pending before the respondent No.4 (Annexure No.1 to this writ petition)." 3. It appears that a recruitment process was carried out pursuant to an Advertisement No. 2-Pariksha/2018 by the respondent no. 2 for certain posts. A copy of the advertisement has been enclosed as Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that a representation has been filed by him on 26.9.2024 that may be considered by the authority. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents states on the basis of the instructions that entire recruitment process has culminated in the declaration of result on 12.9.2024. It is also stated by learned counsel for the respondents that in paragraph no. 5 of the petition a statement has been made that the petitioner belongs to the 'OBC' category whereas in the provisional admit card downloaded from the website for the examination of the aforesaid advertisement, the category of the petitioner appears to be 'General'. 6. Be that as it may, since the selection process has already come to an end nearly six months ago, there is no ground that would merit interference in writ jurisdiction. This petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Order Date :- 11.3.2025 A. V. Singh (Jayant Banerji, J.) Digitally signed by :- AJAY VIKRAM SINGH High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
