2 10.09.2025 1) The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following reliefs:-
“10,1 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly pleased to direct the respondent no.4 to issue fresh PPO as GPF pass book maintained by the department and pay balance amount accordingly; 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court kindly be pleased to direct the respondent no.4 to also pay amount of the missing deductions; 10.3 That this Hon'ble Court kindly be pleased to direct the respondent no.4 to pay interest on entire balance amount as per rule; 10.4 Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper may also be passed in favor of the petitioner together with cost of the petitioner.” 2) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner got retired from services on 30.5.2020 from the post of Lab Technician, Veterinary Services, District Office Jagdalpur, District Bastar, Chhattisgarh. He would contend that the office of the Accountant General has shown the GPF account of the petitioner in negative. He would submit that there was no withdrawal by the petitioner from GPF account and the State has supported the claim of the petitioner. 3) On the other hand, learned counsel for respondent No.4 would oppose the submissions made by counsel for the petitioner. He would submit that the recovery order dated 19.6.2020 regarding negative balance in GPF account of the petitioner has been issued by respondent No.4.
4) Learned counsel for the State would submit that the petitioner withdrew the amount from GPF account during his service period and therefore,
3 the office of Accountant General assessed the said account in negative. 5) Taking into consideration the disputed question of facts, the matter is referred to the Pension Redressal Committee. The office of Advocate General is directed to supply one copy of the petition alongwith the documents to the said Committee. The said Committee shall issue notice to the petitioner and other concern respondents and thereafter, take decision strictly in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6) With the aforesaid observations, this petition is disposed of.
