The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 101/2024 arising out of Jamua P.S. Case No. 411 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 251 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 498(A), 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal code, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Giridih. 3. The bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 4411/2024 vide order dated 30.07.2024. 4. The petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased Puja Devi, who died because of asphyxia due to handing in her matrimonial home within seven years of her marriage. There is specific allegation against the accused persons that she was tortured her to enforce demand of dowry. 5. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State submitted that five witnesses have already been examined in this case. 6. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that trial is under progress, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
