According to the petitioner, her husband got superannuated from service on 31.08.2000 and he died on 31.12.2000. The petitioner claims that her husband was forcibly retired two years prior to his due date of retirement. Hence the petitioner is entitled to arrears of salary of her deceased husband for the aforesaid period of two years. Secondly the petitioner has claimed enhancement of pension and arrears of pension which would have accrued had the petitioner worked for two years. The claims are not only misconceived but also completely barred by laches. No good cause for the failure of the petitioner to approach this Court after more than 24 years has been shown. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
