The petitioner is seeking a direction to respondent no.2 to decide his review application dated 18.4.2020 filed against an order dated 29.2.2020 passed by the said respondent. 2. The aforesaid order was passed on the basis of direction issued by this Court vide order dated 1.10.2019 in Writ No.32354 of 2019. 3. Dinesh Kumar, who is allegedly installing the electricity poles and who is the beneficiary of the order dated 29.2.2020, has also not been impleaded. 4. The order of District Magistrate records that it was passed after hearing the parties. 5. The administrative authority has no power to review his order on merits, unless such power is conferred by the relevant statutory provision. 6. In the instant case as the order purports to be under Work of Licensees Rules, 2006 whereunder no power of review has been conferred, therefore, we decline to issue any writ of mandamus. We leave it open to the petitioner to challenge the main order dated 29.2.2020 by availing such remedy, as may be advised. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
