By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the election to the posts of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the State Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society. 5. Learned counsel for respondent no.1 made a statement at the Bar that the Chairman has been removed and a new Committee has been constituted. 6. Since a new Committee has already been constituted by the State Branch of the Red Cross Society, the writ petition has rendered infructuous. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as such.
