2. representation regarding the grant of assignment and issuance of pattadar passbooks in his favor, as his name is already reflected in the assignment register, the 2nd respondent passed a detailed order dated 24.12.2024. The
order directed the 3rd respondent to correct the revenue records by deleting the name of the pattadar and possessor registered against an extent of Ac.2.16 cents situated at Gunjepalli, Gunjepalli Revenue Village, Mudigubba Mandal, Sri Satya Sai District. However, even after the lapse of two months. the 3rd respondent has not taken any steps to implement the order of the 2nd respondent. Hence, the present writ petition. On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the
3. respondents furnished written instructions dated 06.03.2025, which state as follows; (a)“lt is hereby ordered for deletion of entry from the pattadar pass book, title deed and web-land records with regard to the land in survey No. 1229-1, ext.2.16 acres of Gunjepalli village of Mudigubba mandal, which entered in webland register irregularly In favour of the respondent vide 18 Khata no.3082 of Gunjepalli village of Mudigubba mandal, as he obtained deed and entered web land pass book, title without any patta or
documentary evidence and without any right or titie over the land and moreover he is not in possession and enjoyment of the land in sy.No.1229-1 ext. 2.16 acres of Gunjepalli village of Mudigubba mandal. (b)The Tahsildar Mudigubba is
directed necessary changes in webland/revenue records/village accounts accordingly. The Tahsildar Mudigubba further
directed that to take necessary action for grant of assignment and issue of pattadar pass books after following the all rule positions for considering the representation/appeal submitted by the writ petitioner. to carry out In this connection it is submitted that necessary proposals will be placed before the ensuing assignment committee for grant of assignment of the land in guestion, in favour of the petitioner after taking into consideration of the eligibility of the writ petitioner and after due process of assignment rules in force”. The learned Government Pleader further submits that the grievance of
4. the petitioner can be redressed after the convening of the assignment committee. The petitioner’s case will be considered, and if found eligible, the process will be carried out in accordance with the law. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the list of eligible candidates does not contain any proceedings of the assignment
5. committee.
6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, and perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the considered view on that the present writ petition can be disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to take necessary steps to implement the
order of the 2nd respondent and further directed to place the matter before the ensuing assignment committee for granting patta in favor of the petitioner, as observed by the 2nd respondent, and to initiate steps for the deletion of Webland entries already granted in favor of the third party by following the due procedure contemplated under the Act within a period of three (03) months. as With the above said direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
