In pursuance of the previous order passed by this Court, the Standing Counsel has filed an affidavit of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Aligarh, disclosing that an order dated 28th February, 2025, has been passed granting provisional appointment to the applicant and permitting him to join subject to the decision of the Special Appeal. It has been stated by the Standing Counsel that the applicant has joined the services on 1.3.2025. The joining report has been annexed as Annexure-2 to the affidavit. As the applicant has been allowed to join from 1st March, 2025, the applicant shall be entitled to salary and benefits from 1.3.2025 and the authorities are liable to pay the same subject to the decision of Special Appeal No.1094 of 2024. As the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied with by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application. The application is disposed of and consigned to records. Notices issued to the opposite party are discharged. In case the applicant is not paid the benefits of joining or not paid his salary on due time, the applicant shall be at liberty to file a fresh contempt application.
