Cont.P.No.1015 & 1761 of 2025 Common Prayer: Contempt Petitions are filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for committing willful disobedience of the order dated 19.03.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.Nos. 13486 & 13489 of 2020. For Petitioner in both petitions : Mr.Sundar Narayan For Respondents in both petitions : Mr.C.P.Goutham Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R When the contempt petitions are taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court had granted stay of the order passed in W.P.Nos.13486 & 13489 of 2020 in W.A.Nos.2523 & 2524 of 2025 filed by the State. 2. Since the order, which is being alleged to have not been complied with by the respondents, is the subject matter of the writ appeal and the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court having granted a stay of operation of the order passed by this Court in writ petition, this Court is of the view that it cannot proceed parallely with the present contempt petitions and has to wait the result of the writ appeal filed by the respondents. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
