Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State. 2. This writ petition has been filed seeking the quashing of the effect and operation of the order dated 14.08.2025 passed by District Magistrate Auraiya in Case No.578 of 2025, under Sections 3(1) of U.P. Control of Goonda Act, 1970. 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that after the order dated 14.08.2025 was passed externing the petitioner from the District concerned, the petitioner had filed an appeal on 25.08.2025, under section 6 (3) of the U.P. Goondas Act, 1970. Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that in the appeal only dates have been fixed and that no order was passed in the interim application. 4. Learned AGA states that every effort should be made to decide the appeal expeditiously. 5. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the authority concerned to decide the appeal of the petitioner, within a period of two moths from the date of protection of a certified copy of this order before him.
