Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the A.G.A. for the State. The present petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari, quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 11.08.2025 of Case Crime No. 0189 of 2025 under sections 85, 115(2), 352, 351 (2), 76, 109, 89 B.N.S., 2023 and Section 3/ 4of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Muzaffar Nagar. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in the peceful life and liberty of petitioners pursuant to the First Information Report No. 0189 of 2025 dated 11.8.2025." The recital in the first information report discloses commission of cognizable offence. In view of the aforesaid, no case for quashing the first information report is made out.
