WP No. 30477 of 2025 __________ Page2 of 4 Order The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal dated 30.04.2025 filed under Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005. 2. The petitioner sought certain information from the first respondent. As the information was not furnished within the prescribed time, the petitioner filed a first appeal under Section 19(1) of the RTI Act before the second respondent. 3. As the second respondent neither disposed of the appeal nor furnished the information sought, the petitioner filed a second appeal before the first respondent. The petitioner’s grievance is that, though the second appeal was filed on 30.04.2025, it has not yet been disposed of. 4. Learned State Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the appeal has been numbered as SA/12703/2025 and that the same would be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 5. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the second appeal in SA/12703/2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
