The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 410 of 2023 arising out of Jagannathpur P.S. Case No. 42 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 400 of 2023 for the offences registered under Section 302 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.7287 of 2024 by order dated 21.11.2024. On 05.06.2023, the petitioner murdered the sister of the informant in his house. The deceased was strangulated to death. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that trial is under progress and the prosecution witnesses have not supported the prosecution case. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
