Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State. 2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that by impugned order dated 05.03.2025, the trial court has directed to deposit of Rs. 48,500/- being 5% of the cheque amount under Section 143-A of Negotiable Instruments Act. Learned counsel submits that the applicant had appeared before the court concerned, as such, there exist no occasion for directing to deposit the aforesaid amount under Section 143-A of Negotiable Instruments Act. 3. On query being made by the learned counsel for the applicant as to whether there is any bar under law for the court concerned not to pass an order under Section 143-A of Negotiable Instruments Act once the accused has appeared before the court concerned, learned counsel fairly submits that there is no bar under the N.I. Act or any other law. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant may be permitted to deposit the amount of Rs. 48,500/- with the court concerned within a period of two weeks from today. 5. Learned AGA for the State has no objection for the same. 6. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the applicant, let the amount as directed by order dated 05.03.2025 by the court concerned be deposited by the applicant with the court concerned Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Rekha Rani, Shyam Sunder Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A. Shyam Singh .....Applicant(s) State of U.P. and Another .....Opposite Party(s) within a period of two weeks from today. 7.
