The instant petition has been filed with a prayer to quash the impugned order dated 30.07.2025 passed by Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, (Panchayat Election)/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil - Sadar, Swar & Tanda, District- Rampur in respect of the petitioners. At the very outset, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents submits that the controversy involved in the present petition has already been decided by the Co- ordinate Bench of this Court vide its judgement and order dated 11.02.2025 passed in the case of Surya Pratap Singh vs. State of U.P. and others (Writ-A No. 16401 of 2024).
