However, the same was rejected due to her being overage. It has however been submitted that the mother of the petitioner was within the age limit, at the time of filing the application for compassionate appointment. The son thereafter made an application for compassionate appointment in the year 2024, after the death of his father in the year 2014. 2. Mr. A. Chamuah, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be allowed to withdraw the writ petition. 3. Mr. P. Saikia, learned counsel appears for the respondent No.5, while Mr. A.R.
