Learned counsel submits that the petitioners are employees of Punjab Roadways and seeking th of Daljit Singh and others vs. State of Punjab 26.05.2017 (Annexure P4) against which LPA filed by the State of Punjab bearing No. 659 of 2018 was also No.14572 of 2019 on 17.01.2025. In this regard, 20.06.2025, Annexure P8, has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. She thus, on instructions, prays that a direction may given to the respondent

Learned counsel submits that the petitioners are employees of Punjab Roadways and seeking the relief based on judgment referred in the case Daljit Singh and others vs. State of Punjab 26.05.2017 (Annexure P4) against which LPA filed by the State of Punjab bearing No. 659 of 2018 was also dismissed on 27.02.2019 as al No.14572 of 2019 on 17.01.2025. In this regard, 20.06.2025, Annexure P8, has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. She thus, on instructions, prays that a direction may respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In this regard, a representation dated 20.06.2025, Annexure P8, has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 20.06.2025, taking note of the aforesaid
judgment, within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
