JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 7 19-12-2025 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. 2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Meskaur P.S. Case No. 97 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 70(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 3(2)(v), 3(1)(w) of the SC/ST Act and Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act. 3. The petitioner is accused of committing gang rape with the minor victim. The petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2025. He has been named in the self-inculpatory statement of the co-accused that is how he has been arrested. 4. Considering the aforesaid facts, the gravity of the Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72092 of 2025(7) dt.19-12-2025 2/2 offence and the nature of the accusation, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
