No.69337 of 2025(4) dt.19-12-2025 2/3 ORAL ORDER 4 19-12-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Ara Nawada P.S. Case No. 205/2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 140(3), 352 and 351(2) of B.N.S. read with Section 3(5) of B.N.S. 3. As per the prosecution case, one Sonu Kumar was kidnapped on 18.03.2021. Thereafter, he was taken by unknown criminals to different places, where he was assaulted. Finally, on 21.03.2021, in his statement recorded by the police as well as before the Court, he named all three petitioners as accused who had participated in his kidnapping and assault him. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedents and petitioners, namely, Rohit Kumar, Suman Shukla and Sanjay Kumar are in custody since 10.07.2025, 04.06.2025 and 19.07.2025. The petitioners undertake to co- operate in the case/ trial. 5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that they all have participated in kidnapping and assaulting Sonu Kumar. Patna High Court CR. MISC.
