Haryana SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant the petitioner study leave/extra ordinary leave for pursuing higher studies (Master in Urban Planning) for the period 16.08.2025 to 31.07.2027. Learned State counsel would inform the Court that necessary order will be passed within a period of one week as the case is pending with the Finance Department at this stage and due to ongoing Vidhan Sabha session, he has sought time. In the light of above undertaking made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner do not press the instant petition at this stage. In case the necessary order is not passed, the petitioner would be at liberty to get the petition revived by moving necessary application. Dismissed being not pressed.
