(ORAL) Vide order dated 29.04.2025 (Annexure P-1), CWP-6410-2025, titled as Rajat Aggarwal v. Haryana Shehri Vikas Parishad and another, was disposed of, observing as follows: “4. Without commenting on merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 (competent authority) i.e. Estate Officer, to consider pending Legal Notice dated 13.01.2025 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioner and pass an appropriate reasoned order thereon, in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order.” RAJAN KUMAR 2025.09.10 10:31 I am approving this document COCP-4232-2025(O&M) 2 2. On account of non-compliance of the order referred to above, the instant contempt petition was filed. 3. On 22.08.2025, this Court has passed the following order: “Learned counsel for the petitioner alleges willful disobedience of the order dated 29.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by a Division Bench of this Court in CWP-6410-2015, vide which the respondents were directed to pass a reasoned order on the legal notice dated 13.01.2025 in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. The needful was to be done preferably within a period of six weeks. Today, Ms. Nihar Bala, Advocate for Mr. Harmanjot Singh, Advocate has appeared on behalf of the respondents and has produced a copy of order dated 20.08.2025 stated to have been passed in compliance of the aforesaid directions. The order mentions that opportunity of hearing was given to the petitioner vide Memo No.2556 dated 14.07.2025 but the petitioner did not turn up. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he received the aforesaid communication after 18.07.2025 at about 5.00 p.m., after which he has been approaching the authorities for a hearing but to no avail. To this, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner may now again appear before the authorities on 25.08.2025 at 11.00 a.m. He shall be duly heard and a fresh speaking order shall be passed within a period of one week thereafter. Today, learned counsel representing the respondents has produced a copy of the speaking order dated 25.08.2025, which was passed after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. A copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner shall, if so advised, avail all such remedies as shall be admissible in law against the said order, and that he does not press the instant contempt petition. 6. Accordingly, the present contempt petition is disposed of in terms of the statement given by learned counsel for the petitioner. 7. Rule is discharged. 8. Pending applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
