HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD HABEAS CORPUS WRIT PETITION No. - 817 of 2025 Court No. - 45 HON'BLE SALIL KUMAR RAI, J. HON'BLE DIVESH CHANDRA SAMANT, J. In pursuance to the previous order of this Court, the Additional Government Advocate has produced the corpus i.e. petitioner no.1 before this Court and, on instructions, states that the corpus is in Dasna Jail, Ghaziabad on judicial remand in Case No.295 of 2025. He demonstrates that petitioner no.1 was arrested on 06.09.2025. Counsel for the petitioners contests the aforesaid fact and states that petitioner no.1 was taken in custody by the police on 29.08.2025 itself. Be that as it may, the present custody of the petitioner no.1 is on a judicial remand which is not under challenge before this Court. His detention in Dasna Jail is, at present, legal and the illegality of any detention before 06.09.2025 is not relevant to decide the present petition for a writ of habeas corpus.
