The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking directions to respondent-department to step up their pay at par with their juniors in view of notification dated 22.08.2019 (Annexure P-8) issued by Department of Finance, Government of Punjab. 2. Mr. Aman Dhir, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who on advance notice is present in Court on behalf of respondent-State, fairly submits that the petition may be disposed of in the light of directions issued by this Court vide order dated 19.06.2020 in CWP No.8290 of 2020, Sukhwinder Singh and Others v. State of Punjab and Others. He further submits that case of the petitioners would be considered in the light of order dated 17.09.2020 passed by the department.
