Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for quashing of order dated 17.07.2025 (Annexure P-5) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, in CRA-13724-2024 titled as
“Tanveer Singh Vs. Sandeep Kumar” whereby the application filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time to deposit 20% of compensation of amount has been dismissed and suspension order under Section 389(1) of Cr.P.C. has been vacated.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is ready to settle the matter amicably with the complainant/respondent No.2 and ready to pay the interim amount and requested to grant permission to the petitioner to move the trial Court.

Keeping in view the above, petitioner is directed to appear/surrender before the trial Court within two weeks i.e. on or before 16.09.2025 and move an application for compounding of the offence under MONIKA RANI 2025.09.08 12:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Section 147 of NI Act and trial Court will proceed with the matter in accordance with law. Till then, it is directed that his arrest warrant in this case will remain in abeyance. It is made clear that if he fails to appear before the trial Court within a stipulated time, then the relief granted by this Court shall deemed to be withdrawn.
