According to petitioner, his father was allotted a piece of agricultural land under ‘Special Component Plan’ in the year 1983. Grievance raised by petitioner is that his name is not recorded in the revenue records and State Government is recorded as owner of the land. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has this Court, seeking the following relief: “1. Direct the respondent no.1 to record the name of petitioner and his father i.e. late Om Prakash as allottee of the land bearing Khasra No. 588/4 area 1-6- 10 bigha in village Feerupur Ramkhera, Pargna Tehsil Jwalapur, District Haridwar. 2. In alternate, respondent no.1 be directed to consider the representation (Annexure-3) of the petitioner on the basis of report (Annexure-5) of the Revenue Official.” 3. Learned State Counsel raised objection that allotment is under Special Component Plan for a specific purpose and with certain conditions. He submits that there is no allegation that petitioner’s possession over the land in question is being disturbed. 4. He submits that under the garb of 2025:UHC:8034 recording his name, petitioner wants himself to be declared as bhumidhar with transferable rights so that he may transfer the land to someone else. 5. This Court is not inclined to grant reliefs as prayed for. 6. Since learned State Counsel submits that there is no move on the part of Government authorities to dispossess the petitioner, therefore writ petition is disposed of by taking the statement made by learned State Counsel on record.
